Modern Midlife Woman™ is a brand of Shift into Health, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). This policy explains what information we collect through modernmidlifewoman.com, our quiz, our emails, and our booking pages, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your name and email address when you join our email list, take the quiz, or contact us.
- Your quiz answers, which may include symptoms you're experiencing, what you've tried, and your goals.
- Booking details when you schedule a Clarity Call, and anything you share in a pre-call survey.
- Messages you send us by email or through a form.
- If you become a client, the health information you share with us during your program, such as lab and genetic results, health history, food logs, and progress measurements.
- Anything you post in our private client community.
Payment information
Payments are processed by our third-party providers. We do not store your full card number.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours uses cookies and similar tools to collect information such as your device and browser type, the pages you visit, how you arrived at the site, and your general location (city or region). We may also use tools that show us, in aggregate, how visitors move through a page.
How we use your information
- To send your quiz result and the emails you signed up for.
- To schedule and prepare for your Clarity Call.
- To deliver the programs and services you purchase.
- To respond to your questions.
- To understand how the site and our emails are performing so we can improve them.
- To meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements.
We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the practice, and only what they need to do their job. They fall into these categories:

- Our quiz platform
- Our email platform
- Scheduling, checkout, and payment processing
- Our client community platform
- Tools that connect these services to each other
- Lab, testing, and supplement companies, when we place an order for you as part of your program. They receive your name and shipping address so your order can reach you.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If the business is ever sold or reorganized, your information may transfer as part of that change.
Health-related information
Some of what you share with us, such as quiz answers about symptoms, is personal. We use it to give you your quiz result, to make our emails more relevant to you, and to prepare for conversations with you. We do not sell it and we do not share it for advertising.
Modern Midlife Woman is a wellness education and coaching practice. It is not a medical practice and is not a covered entity under HIPAA. We still protect your information and limit who can see it, as described in this policy. If you choose physician-supervised care through the independent medical platform, the information you give that platform is handled under its own privacy practices.
Client community
Clients may have access to our private online community. What you post there can be seen by other members, so share only what you're comfortable with them seeing. If you'd like something you posted removed, email us.
Testimonials
We share client stories only with permission. If we've shared yours and you'd like it updated or removed, email us and we'll take care of it.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies help the site work and help us understand how it's used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at any time. We may still send you messages about a booking or a purchase you've made.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@modernmidlifewoman.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Retention, security, and other sites
We keep your information for as long as you're on our list or working with us, and afterward only as long as needed for legal, tax, or recordkeeping purposes.
We use reputable providers and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or email system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
Our site and emails may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
